“Aniera Festa” is Nagano Prefecture’s largest open-air anime song festival, which has been held in every September since 2017. After last year’s cancelation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event is set to held at at Komaba Park in Saku City, Nagano, on September 18 and 19, 2021, under the new name “Nagano Aniera Festa 2020 to 2021.”
This year’s theme is “After The Rain.” The executive committee chairman of Aniera Festa, Ryo Kobayashi writes in the press release as below:
“It has taken me more than a year to deliver a single line of words, and even after a year, the new coronavirus is still not completely under control, and I know that many people are still suffering. In the midst of such a difficult situation, I kept thinking about what I could do as the person who provides ‘a fun thing.’ As a result, I have decided to reduce the capacity to less than half of the venue’s capacity, spread out the people by holding the event for two days for the first time, and take all possible measures to prevent infectious diseases, in order to give top priority to the safe and secure enjoyment of the event.”
“A lot of rules will be added this year. There are many things that will be different from previous years. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Nevertheless, I want to meet again with people who love anime and Japanese pop culture with smiles under the blue skies of Shinshu. This year’s event is the result of our continuous thinking about how to achieve this goal.”
“Never stop having fun. Because the moment you do is the moment life isn’t worth living anymore.”
The first artist lineup of this year’s event will be announced at noon on June 25 (JST), and lottery advance registration for the tickets will begin at the same time at Ticket Pia.
