#Teen robbed 11-year-old at knifepoint in NYC middle school

An unhinged teen broke into a Queens middle school this week and robbed an 11-year-old student at knifepoint, and then attacked a 51-year-old man outside the building.

The terrifying episode unfolded Wednesday at about 2:30 p.m., inside of the Robert A. Van Wyck Junior High School, on 144th Street.

The 5-foot-2, 110-pound teenage intruder slipped into the school, entered a public bathroom and approached a 11-year-old male student who was inside, cops said.

The young robber displayed a knife and pointed it at the victim’s chest and demanded money, cops said.

When the frightened student said he didn’t have any money, the bandit took the victim’s water bottle and fled the school. The shaken victim was not injured, cops said.

It’s unclear whether the attacker attends the middle school.

Just minutes after the shocking school incident, the suspect approached a 51-year-old man at the corner of 85 Road and 149th Street and began to argue with him, police said.

The knife-wielding assailant “began to lunge at the victim’s throat, but did not make contact,” cops said.

The teen continued slashing at the victim multiple times, cutting his jacket but not his arm.

He then flung the water bottle he had stolen from the middle school student at the 51-year-old and ran off. The victim was not injured.

The NYPD described the suspect as having a slim build, light complexion and was last seen wearing a black mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket and black pants.

The NYPD on Saturday released a surveillance image obtained from a local deli and a police sketch depicting the wanted individual.
