#T-Pain’s ignored hundreds of celeb Instagram direct messages.

Ooh, ooh, he can’t believe it. 

T-Pain — unable to “Blame It” on the alcohol this time — is taking a social media walk of shame for unwittingly ignoring hundreds of Instagram direct messages from verified celebrity accounts.  

“I was today years old when I found out about the request folder on Instagram that’s full of celebs trying to reach me,” the Grammy Award winner laments in a now-viral virtual confession.

In his video — which has amassed over 2.5 million views across Instagram, Twitter and TikTok — T-Pain, 35, hilariously admits that he had no clue about Instagram’s unsung Message Requests inbox feature. 

A wave of unanswered DMs from the likes of Academy Award winner Viola Davis, 55, music producer Diplo, 42, and the cartoon-tycoon network Nickelodeon scroll by in the background of T-Pain’s penitence post while he looks on in humiliation. 

“Dude, is that Fergie?! Smh,” the Tallahassee, Florida, native exclaims as he sees a missed memo the “Big Girls Don’t Cry” crooner sent 112 weeks ago. 

“I’ve been accidentally straight up ignoring all these people for like two years.”

The oft-overlooked Message Requests folder, located in the upper-right corner of the general Direct Message tab, is designated to receive private communications from Instagram accounts that you’re not currently following. 

Once the message hits your Requests folder, you have the option of accepting and responding to or declining and ignoring the note. 

But for not knowing the intricate ins and outs of some of Insta’s less popular properties, T-Pain is ashamed. 

“I’m just now seeing all these messages and mentions TODAY!!! How do I super apologize? Press conference? Town hall meeting? I’m dumb,” the “I’m Sprung” songbird says. 

And now, fans are digitally spanking the “Buy U a Drank” singer for his massive cyber snafu.  

“I saw at least 3 artists ask for a collab/feature. Bro really missed out on millions by not knowing how to use Instagram,” one ticked-off TikToker commented. 

“VIOLA DAVIS??? GET BACK TO HER NOWWW,” another implored. 

Singer Ashanti even hit up T-Pain’s comments, admitting on Instagram that she’d also been guilty of mistakenly bypassing a bunch of buzzing Requests. 

But the best reaction to T’s DM snub came from a victim of the unintended offense, Diplo, who jokingly said, “I was asking if you had any milk, I needed to borrow some,” accompanied by the eye-rolling emoji. 

Buy that guy a “Drank” of milk, man.
