#’Sweet Tooth,’ ‘Why Women Kill’ & More Shows on the Rise in June

Streaming platforms often keep their viewership numbers top-secret, but Parrot Analytics has its finger on streaming TV demand. Looking at month-over-month gains from May to June, the Netflix fantasy drama Sweet Tooth was far and away the winner, enjoying a sevenfold spike in demand. (It debuted June 4.) Coming in a distant second: the Disney+ superhero series Loki—but don’t forget that this ranking measures the increase in demand, and interest around Loki has been sky-high for months now. Meanwhile, the demand for the anthology series Why Women Kill (Season 2 premiered June 3) marks a win for original content on Paramount+, since it’s typically series from the Star Trek franchise that dominate demand on the platform formerly known as CBS All Access.
