# SUNSOFT plans crowdfunding campaign to port three Famicom titles to Switch, PC

SUNSOFT will launch a Campfire crowdfunding campaign to bring three of its Famicom titles to Switch and PC via Steam in celebration of Famicom’s 40th anniversary, the company announced. Crowdfunding will begin on July 14 and end on August 31.

The company plans on porting the following three titles:

Kanshaku Tamanage Kantarou no Toukaidou Gojuusan-tsugi (July 3, 1986)
The Wing of Madoola (December 18, 1986)
Ripple Island (January 23, 1988)

SUNSOFT is also thinking beyond its initial goal of releasing those three titles, to release the “SUNSOFT-branded gold cartridge” it was unable to release back in the Famicom days. Back then, only seven publishers were allowed to engrave their own brand names onto Famicom cartridges, and SUNSOFT was one of them. But it was never able to release a gold cartridge due to budget restraints.
