# Suikoden: The Anime announced

Konami has announced Suikoden: The Anime, an anime series based on Suikoden II. The production studio is Konami Animation, who will be tackling an anime series for the first time.
The project’s staff includes director YUZO and producer Ryo Hino (NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan Anime & Music Production Division Anime Production Group Manager).
“I am very honored to be a part of this huge project, Suikoden: The Anime,” said Hino. “It is not only for original fans like me. These relationships between characters, and this dramatic story… I’m looking forward to sharing the story with even more people.
