#Sufjan Stevens Joins CARM on New “Song of Trouble”: Listen

Trumpeter and yMusic co-founder CJ Camerieri has shared a new song from his forthcoming album CARM. The track, “Song of Trouble,” features and was co-written and arranged with Sufjan Stevens. Watch the “Song of Trouble” lyric video below.

“Sufjan’s use of orchestral instruments helped set the stage for everything I’ve done in my career,” Camerieri said in a press release. “I’m proud of how Sufjan’s lyrics powerfully begin the record.”

CARM, Camerieri’s first solo record under his CARM moniker, is out on January 22 via 37d03d. The album has contributions from Yo La Tengo’s Georgia Hubley and Ira Kaplan (“Already Gone”), Mouse on Mars, Shara Nova, and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, who features the previously shared “Land.”

CJ Camerieri was one of the many contributors to Taylor Swift’s evermore. He played french horn on the opening song, “willow.”
