#Studio Trigger-Produced Trailer For Metallic Child Rogue-lite Game Released

Video game publisher Crest has uploaded a Studio Trigger-produced trailer for the upcoming Metallic Child game on its YouTube channel. True to its “Non-credited Animation Promo Video” name, the trailer does not offer a list of the staff members involved in the production.

Metallic Child is an action rogue-lite developed by Studio HG that will release on September 16 on Steam and Nintendo Switch. It will also release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 sometime this year. The fourth-wall breaking premise sees the player “accidentally” connecting with the android Rona by starting the game and helping her against a robot rebellion in the Life Stream space laboratory.

The game promises “high-tempo” action, a selection of weapons which have unique skills, and obtainable Cores that grant Rona new powers. There will also be over 10 types of bosses who drop Core Jams that grant their skills upon defeat.
