#Mahjong Soul Kan!! Anime Series Premieres April 2024
The official website and Twitter account for Yostar’s Mahjong Soul free-to-play mobile game announced that a new anime series titled Mahjong Soul Kan!! will premiere in April 2024.
A key visual featuring all 14 Jyanshi characters was released, as well as a 40-second teaser PV trailer.
Mahjong Soul Kan!! will be available to stream on Mahjong Soul‘s official social media accounts, including YouTube, X, and Facebook. The anime is the second animated series for the franchise, following the 12-episode series Mahjong Soul Pon☆ in 2022, which was licensed by Crunchyroll.
The production staff includes Kazuomi Koga (Tenpuru, The Dreaming Boy is a Realist) as director and screenwriter, Ayumi Kurokawa (City Hunter: The Movie – Shinjuku Private Eyes) as character designer, and Dream Monster’s Hinako Tsubakiyama (Shy, Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) as music composer. Alke is the animation production company, with Cat Food Studio credited as original creators.

Other staff members include Studio Aqua’s Noriko Tsutsui as art director and art designer, Studio Elle’s Yuusuke Watanabe (Gibiate) as color designer, Tetsuya Nishimura (The Aristocrat`s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far) as photography director, and Chikako Yokota (Chained Soldier) as sound director.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast of Mahjong Soul Kan!! includes:

Mahjong Soul was released by the Chinese-based Cat Food Studio in China on June 2018. Yostar released the mobile game worldwide in April 2019.
The anime’s story will follow the Jyanshis trying out live streaming and get involved in a turf war between battling gangs.
