#Strangers Must Work Together So One Can Win Money on ‘The Bridge’ (VIDEO)

Teamwork is essential in HBO Max’s new competition series, but only one can walk away victorious.

Narrated by James McAvoy, the six episodes of The Bridge premiere on the streaming service on Thursday, February 11, and the grand prize is £100,000. But as the trailer reveals, while one person will take it home, it’ll take everyone to reach it.

In this new competition series, 12 strangers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland head to a cabin in the British wilderness not knowing what they’ll have to do to take home the money. The cash is on an island in the middle of a lake, and to reach it, the contestants must build an 850-foot bridge with their hands and limited supplies — in 20 days!

Is it any wonder this series is described as “an adrenaline-packed, physically grueling adventure filled with mind games and power plays” by HBO Max?

The Bridge is based on the Spanish series El Puente. The HBO Max Original is co-produced with Workerbee for Channel 4 in the UK. Rick Murray, Michelle Chappell, and Warren Smith serve as executive producers.
