#Stone Wars to Stream on iQIYI on January 28

Ani-One announced on social media that Dr. Stone: Stone Wars will be part of the Winter 2021 catalog. The science fiction anime will stream on iQIYI and other platforms in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, and is scheduled to premiere on January 28 at 10:30 PM (GMT+8), with new episodes every Thursday.

Hong Kong will additionally be able to access it via MyTV Super, Brunei and Malaysia via Dimsum, Vietnam via DANET, and Indonesia via Sushiroll. Taiwan can access the anime via myVideo, KKTV, Bahamut, Friday, Line TV, and Chunghwa Telecom (MOD + Hami Video) as well.

Shinya Iino returns to direct the anime at TMS Entertainment, with Yuichiro Kido once again in charge of series composition. Hiroaki Tsutsumi, Tatsuya Katou, and Yuki Kanesaka are also returning as music composers, while Yuko Iwasa will reprise her role as character designer. Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki are credited as original creators of the manga.

Makoto Furukawa (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and Yuusuke Kobayashi (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) are reprising their roles as Taiju Ouki and Senku respectively. Other returning cast members include Ayumu Murase (Haikyu!! series) as Ginro, Gen Sato (Stars Align) as Chrome, Kana Ichinose (DARLING in the FRANXX) as Yuzuriha Ogawa, Karin Takahashi (Assault Lily Bouquet) as Suika, Kengo Kawanishi (Run with the Wind) as Gen Asagiri, Manami Numakura (Attack on Titan The Final Season) as Kohaku, Mugihito (Jujutsu Kaisen) as Kaseki, Reina Ueda (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Ruri, Tomoaki Maeno (Cells at Work!) as Kinro, and Yuuichi Nakamura (Talentless Nana) as Tsukasa Shishio. 

New cast members include Atsumi Tanezaki (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) as Nikki Hanada, Yoshiki Nakajima (Hinamatsuri) as Yō Uei, and Kensho Ono (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) as Ukyō Saionji.

Modern society is lost when a mysterious light leaves everyone petrified in stone. Thousands of years in the future, super genius Senku awakens and begins restoring civilization with his Kingdom of Science. Now as he sets down blueprints for a smartphone in the stone world, Tsukasa and his Empire of Might prepare for the upcoming war.
