“#Star Ocean: Anamnesis Mobile Game Prepares to End Service in Japan”
Mobile game Star Ocean: Anamnesis first started service in Japan on December 8, 2016, and now it's officially set to come to an end. Developer tri-Ace announced plans to end service for the game in Japan on June 24 at 2:00pm Japan Time.
According to Square Enix's statement, service is ending because they "determined it will be difficult to provide satisfactory service to our users going forward."
As of April 22, the Premium Shop has been suspended along with Crest sales. On May 6, the final series characters will be added, and then on June 24 it will be time to bid farewell to the iOS and Android adventure.
