Prior to the Gridman Universe crossover movie’s March 24 premiere, compilation film versions of the SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon series will be released in Japanese theaters on January 20 and March 10 respectively. Trailers and visuals have been released for both. 

The films will each screen for two weeks only.

The SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon series aired in 2018 and 2021 respectively with 12 episodes. The shows are inspired by Tsuburaya Productions’s 1993 Gridman: The Hyper Agent tokusatsu series. Both had Akira Amemiya as director, Keiichi Hasegawa as scriptwriter, Masaru Sakamoto as character designer, Mayumi Nakamura as sub-character designer, Shirou Sagisu as music composer, and TRIGGER as the animation production studio. Yoshiyuki Kaneko was assistant director on SSSS.Gridman, while Yoshihiro Miyajima fulfilled the role for SSSS.Dynazenon.
