#Square Enix Unveils Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile Trailer and Summer 2022 Release

Square Enix has released a trailer for its upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile game, which previews the title’s 3D graphics and offers glimpses of the combat. A Summer 2022 release window was also announced.

The game will be fully voiced and will depict scenes from the manga with new 3DCG animation. The character page has not yet launched at the time of writing, but the website mentions a “rich” cast of characters and that Roy Mustang will be present in addition to the Elric brothers.

Pre-registration for Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile is now open, with rewards based on the number of registrations being offered. The game will be available on iOS and Android.

Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile was announced back in July and is part of the manga’s 20th anniversary project. The Fullmetal Alchemist manga by Hiromu Arakawa ran from 2001 to 2010 and was first published by Enix, and later Square Enix. The manga has inspired two anime series, two anime movies, a live-action movie, various video games, and more. The anime are produced by Bones, with Seiji Mizushima directing the first 2003 series and the follow-up Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa 2005 movie. The 2009 reboot series was directed by Yasuhiro Irie, while the 2011 Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos movie was helmed by Kazuya Murata.
