#JUJUTSU KAISEN Manga Boasts Another 5 Million Copes Printed and Sold in Less Than a Month

The official Twitter account for JUJUTSU KAISEN has revealed the latest figure for the manga series, announcing that the popular Weekly Shonen Jump title has breezed past 45 million copies printed (physically) and sold (digitally). It’s not specified whether these numbers are just Japan or worldwide, though usually if the numbers are worldwide, it is mentioned.

This latest figure comes only a month after the last sales figure, which had the series pegged at 40 million copies, meaning the manga series has had an impressive 5 million copies put out into the wild in a little under a month. The JUJUTSU KAISEN manga series has surpassed the lifetime sales of cult hits just as Berserk and Nana. If we look at JUJUTSU KAISEN‘s sale figures from 2020 (through Oricon, which doesn’t cover digital copies), a month in 2021 is nearly as much as the series sold in all of 2020 (5 million over the last month, little under 7 million in 2020).

JUJUTSU KAISEN‘s TV anime series ended last season, with the entire series both subbed and dubbed right here on Crunchyroll, but the story expands in winter with the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 anime film in Japan.
