TMS Entertainment and Sentai announced that there will be a special theatrical event in theaters to commemorate LUPIN THE 3rd’s 50th anniversary. This event will feature the world premiere for the English dub of LUPIN THE 3rd: Part 1’s first episode, which first aired on October 24, 1971, along with the first two episodes of LUPIN THE 3rd: Part 6. This event is the first look of the next installment of the LUPIN THE 3rdseries and will run from October 22 to 28.

LUPIN THE 3rd: Part 6 will be streamed on HIDIVE for the Fall 2021 anime season. Part 6 is described as:
Gentleman thief Lupin III is back and ready for his next caper— unless legendary sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, has anything to say about it! When Holmes’ longtime partner, Dr. Watson, is murdered, none other than Lupin tops the suspects list.
