#Sora Amamiya Sings Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It OP Theme at THE FIRST TAKE

THE FIRST TAKE is a YouTube channel that captures an artist’s one-take performances. In its latest 132nd episode, voice actress Sora Amamiya sings “PARADOX,” the OP theme for the TV anime Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It, in which she has also voiced its main heroine Ayame Himuro. She is the first anime voice actor who has performed in the program that has been watched more than 1.2 billion times in total since its launch in November 2019.

While working as a member of the three-member voice actress unit TrySail, she has released 11 singles and three albums as a solo singer since 2014. “PARADOX” was released as her tenth single in January 2010 and ranked seventh in Oricon’s weekly single charts, which was the highest in her solo career.

Amamiya says, “This program has featured many artists with great expressiveness and singing skills, but I’m not exactly a good singer…, what am I supposed to do? I was so worried that I was going to cry. However, as a voice actor, I tried to put in all the expression I could get from the anime and the character. Now that I’ve finished the recording, I feel how lucky I am to have had this opportunity. If there are people who are interested in voice acting and anime because of this episode, I’ll be very happy…!”
