“Sons of the Forest: Pistol number 1 and 2 – Where to find”

An island with beautiful scenery and jaw-dropping landscape, but there’s a catch – it’s heavily infested with hungry cannibals. Some are even mutated! Sons of the Forest gathered a huge audience of wannabe survivors since its launch last week. The game, which is a sequel to the indie survival game The Forest currently has more than 250,000 active players. Your mission is to find and rescue a missing billionaire on an island filled with monsters you’ve never seen before. As a survivor, you need to get anything to be able to survive in this environment. Obviously, you will need weapons to kill the cannibals. This leads us to one of the handiest weapons in the game, the Pistol. There are two known pistols in the game and we will be telling you exactly where to find them.

First Pistol

For the first pistol in Sons of the Forest, the survivor must prepare to get wet. Shotguns are cool, but a more handy weapon is no other than the pistol. There are two pistols in the game and the first one can be found in an abandoned liferaft near the western coast. The liferaft, which is covered in tattered orange plastic, is just afloat in the sea. You just have to swim towards it and climb the boat wherein you will find a hidden pistol. Furthermore, the liferaft can be easily identified as a purple exclamation in the GPS. It does look like an easy task. But, there’s a catch. There are sharks nearby which means you have to be wary. Once you are aboard the liferaft, you will then spot the pistol near a corpse.

Second Pistol

Sons of the Forest doesn’t actually let you carry more than one pistol. However, if you want to find the second one, it’s much harder to obtain than the first. For starters, you will be needing some experience in fighting a mutated cannibal, a maintenance keycard, and a heavy ballistic gun like the shotgun. The said weapon is inside a facility in the southeast part of the island.

The spot will seem like a cave at first, but there is a hidden facility right below the pinged location. Just head inside the cave until you reach a locked door, which will need a maintenance keycard to open. After opening, go downstairs and look for the very first door on your way. With one of the greatest shocks of your life, you will see a humongous mutated cannibal. This probably wouldn’t be your first time so it’s an easy kill. After killing the monster, head straight into the lobby and follow the first living quarters on your right side. The second pistol is unsurprisingly beside another corpse (again).
