“Sons of the Forest: All 3 Keycards locations”

Some places in Sons of the Forest are off-limits, but there is actually a way for you to unlock the doors protecting these points of interest – Keycards. While they are just put somewhere on the map, you will need one keycard to be able to acquire the other. In Sons of the Forest, there are a total of 3 keycards just lying in a hidden place on the island. These cards are namely the Maintenance keycard, the VIP keycard, and the last one, the Guest keycard. Today must be your lucky day as we will be telling you how to find them with ease!

Maintenance Keycard

The first card you will need is the Maintenance Keycard. Before you attempt to find this card, you must have already finished making your own shovel as this will be the most fundamental tool in the game. That includes this task. We have already created a whole guide dedicated to creating your own shovel in Sons of the Forest, so be sure to check that out.

Shown below is the location of the Maintenance keycard, which is somewhere in the north part of the island.

If you find a patch of dirt in the middle of grassland alongside a dirty white golf cart, this means you must start digging. A few shovels later, you will find a hatch cover named “Maintenance A”. Just open the hatch and this will lead you to an underground facility. Turn around and walk straight until you find a small living room. Look for a 3D printer and a laptop since the card is just beside it. Congratulations! Now you have your first keycard. Time to find the next two!

Where can I use this card?

The Maintenance keycard has a lot of uses. One of which is unlocking a door that leads to the location of the VIP keycard. But, the most notable door unlocked by this keycard is the place where the second pistol is located.

VIP Keycard

Probably the most exhausting keycard hunting in Sons of the Forest is trying to find the second one. Located in the northwest, not far from the location of the Maintenance keycard is where the VIP keycard is sitting.

Once near the location, look for this suspicious-looking entrance which will lead you to a cave that also leads to another underground area. It’s going to be a long and tough journey, so we’re going to spread it out in a step-by-step manner.

• Once you have reached the underground via the ladder, look for the very first locked door on your right side. To unlock the door, use your acquired Maintenance keycard.
• You will then pass through three rooms of the plant nursery.
• After a long line of growing plants, you’ll feel a change in scenery by passing through a very dark corridor.
• After that, turn left and go downstairs. That will lead you to a flooded area.
• Turn left again and swim straight until you find a series of obstructing pipelines.
• It’s a bit lengthy, we know. Soon after you passed the pipes, turn right once you see a path that leads to another part of the facility.
• It may lead you further, but the VIP keycard is already near. Just a few steps from your last turn, you will find a purple door.
• Go inside until you reach the endgame – a control room. In the table, you will see the VIP keycard waiting for it to be taken.

Where can I use this card?

The VIP keycard has a lot of uses. One of which is unlocking a door that leads to the location of the Guest keycard. But, the most notable door unlocked by this keycard is the place where the second shotgun is located.

Guest Keycard

Finally, you have reached the final step. Now that you have two keycards, it’s high time for the third one, the Guest keycard. Its location, as shown below, is a secret entrance in a rock formation somewhere on the western part of the island.

Once again, this will lead you to a dark place that is just a facade of a secret hideout. You will need something to illuminate your way at first so we suggest bringing a lighter/flashlight. Just like the VIP keycard, it’s another long walk, so here we go:

• If you are now underground, walk straight into the dark corridor and then turn left.
• Continue walking and follow the bright light ahead of you.
• Once there, take a right until you reach a locked door that will require a VIP keycard to open.
• Navigate the area as you pass through a huge gym, massage area, and the atrium.
• There will be two large staircases that are hard to miss. Climb either staircase since it will lead to the same floor.
• Walk through another recreation area, the pool. Go straight to the end of the room.
• An opening will lead to the dining area and the nightclub where the Guest keycard is located.
