# Sonic Wings Reunion announced for PS5, Switch, PC, and arcade

SUCCESS Corporation has announced Sonic Wings Reunion, a new entry in the Aero Fighters shoot ’em up series, for PlayStation 5, Switch, PC (Steam), and Japanese arcades. It will launch on May 29, 2025 in Japan with support for English, French. German, Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.

In Japan, the PlayStation 5 and Switch versions will be available both physically and digitally. It will cost 6,380 yen for the standard edition, and 10,780 yen for the limited edition. The latter includes an acrylic stand of series character Mao Mao, the single CD “Reunion” featuring the theme song sung by Mao Mao (voiced by SUZUKA), and a Project Blue Mao Mao Day-One Commander Commemorative Patch.

About

Story

In the year 20XX, cities around the world come under attack. “Fata Morgana,” a mysterious organization wielding super weapons and the unknown technology to control the world’s military arsenal, has returned. “Project Blue,” an international secret rescue team of knights that soar the skies, rises to stand against this threat to the world. What awaits them in their fight against these formidable foes…?

Gameplay

Choose from eight popular characters from the series, including Mao Mao and Hien, as you aim to clear eight stages set in real-life cities. The game allows you to select your difficulty at the start and also includes local two-player cooperative play.
