Snoop Dogg is a legendary artist who has worked hard to achieve all that he’s got, so it should come as no surprise that getting him on a track is gonna cost you a pretty penny.

The rap star appeared on the Full Send Podcast on Wednesday (April 20) and revealed that a guest appearance on a song is gonna cost an artist $250,000 for 16 bars, a cost that increases if they expect him to pop up in their music video.

“You’ll get about 16 bars,” he said. “And when it’s time to do the video, I need to get another $250,000 up out of you. And you only got an hour so get to filming.”

Uncle Snoop has over 1,000 guest appearances to his name, and he’s worked with everyone from Kid Rock to Kendrick Lamar to Mariah Carey and Jason Derulo. The rap legend confirmed during his interview that his next link-up will be with the South Korean boy band BTS. He was asked to speak on the collab but wouldn’t give too much away aside from confirming it was “official.”

“It’s official like a referee with a whistle,” he said. “I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

Snoop also broke down his recent purchase of Deathrow Records and talked about what he believes happens when we die.
