Slim Thug shared his opinion on the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion shooting case following the Toronto singer’s guilty verdict last week.

The Houston native believes Meg was initially protecting Tory following the July 2020 shooting, but later reported the incident to police because of the way Lanez acted in the days after.

“If he did have anything to do with that shit, it shouldn’t have been no beef whatsoever after the shit happened. If there was any guilt on his side, he should’ve kissed Meg’s ass,” he proclaimed.

“He should’ve been way more humble and try his best to get on her good side. For all the funny shit for the cap app and saying this and saying that and all the funny shit on cap app, who laughing now?”

Thug then trolled Tory about how he would never pull a gun on a woman because he’s 6’6″, but that might be different for a shorter person.

“No way in life will I ever pull out a gun for a situation with a woman,” he asserted.

While on the stand during the highly-publicized trial, Meg explained her decision to not immediately report Lanez to the Los Angeles Police Department during a vehicle stop on the same night of the July 2020 shooting.

“At this time we are at the height of police brutality… I felt if I said this man had shot me, they might shoot first and ask questions later,” she said not wanting to endanger Tory who she formerly had a relationship with.

“I don’t feel safe in the car. I don’t feel safe with the police. First of all, in the Black community, in my community, it’s not really acceptable to be cooperating with police officers.”

The Houston native also felt she had to be silent as she worried about the impact of cooperating with police would have on her rap career.

Following eight days of trial, nearly two days of closing arguments and a day of deliberations, a grand jury found Tory guilty of all three charges levied against him on December 23. Lanez faces up to 22 years and eight months behind bars and is set for sentencing next month.
