#The Penguin: Max Releases Trailer for Batman Spin-Off Series Coming This Fall

The Penguin TV Show on Max: canceled or renewed?

DC fans are getting a good look at The Penguin series, which will arrive on Max in Fall 2024. The new sequel series follows the events in 2022’s The Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader. A follow-up film is set for release in 2026.

Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, and Michael Zegen star in the eight-episode drama.

In the movie,  Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot (Farrell) is a nightclub owner, mid-level mobster, and the lieutenant of crime boss Carmine Falcone. He also hates being referred to as the Penguin. The series will follow his rise to power in Gotham City’s underworld.  Carmine’s daughter, Sofia Falcone (Milioti), fights Cobblepot for control following her father’s death.

Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, and showrunner Lauren LeFranc executive produce the Max series.

An exact fall premiere date for The Penguin will be announced later.
