SiR Claims Toronto Concert Was Cancelled Over Drake Beef
SiR has claimed that his concert in Toronto was cancelled due to the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
The TDE singer was supposed to perform in the Canadian city last summer before it was cancelled at the last minute with venue initially being blamed.
SiR said at the time: “So sorry to my Toronto fans. The show has been cancelled. We’re working on rescheduling for a later date.
“For those wondering, we sold that show out. It was cancelled by the venue. Not sure why. My apologies again to those that came just to see me.”
SiR recently returned to Canada for a show and seemingly confirmed that the concert was asked due to the explosive feud between Drake and Kendrick.

In a clip from a show, SiR explained that the previous show was cancelled after he “kinda got caught” in a feud and that him performing in Drake’s home town hit “too close to home for a lot of people.”
He added: “So the venue in Toronto, which was partially owned by Drake, cancelled the show completely. Then when we tried to switch venues, the next venue was like ‘nah we ain’t fucking with it, I ain’t taking no motherfucking chance.’”
ScHoolboy Q also ran into issues when trying to perform in Toronto at the height of the beef last summer.
“THey just canceled my sHow in Toronto. Canadian police don’t want nobody from TDE performing,” Q claimed. “TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH partynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium if we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…”
He then joked about his cameo in the music video for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss song, saying: “Actually I get it.. Nvm tHis sHit Lokey Hilarious… Iono wHy dot put me in tHat fucking video. [crying face emoji] cancelled is all I could tHink about.”
When a fan suggested that Q’s Toronto show being canceled means he will avoid potentially being attacked in Drake’s hometown, he replied: “I don’t tHink u know wHo I am. In fact I do t tHink a lot of u know wHo I am.”
