#Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok Manga Is Unreal!!

Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok is perhaps one of the most craziest manga I have read to date! I literally went into this blind, not expecting anything but was bewildered by how epic each chapter got! Who would have thought man vs Gods would make for such a thrilling concept!

Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok is a manga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. The plot is as follows:

Every 1000 years, gods of every pantheon join together to hold a conference to decide the fate of humanity and see whether or not the human race should continue living or go extinct. With the most recent of these conferences having concluded, the gods decided to put humanity to an end by the call of popular vote.

However, at the very last second, the eldest of the Valkyries, accompanied by the youngest, intervened and made an unheard of proposal to let humanity have a say in their fate by letting them go against the gods in a series of one-on-one fights to see if they are worthy of continuing to exist. Afraid to let go of their pride, the gods accept this proposal. Thirteen gods will fight against thirteen human champions. The first side to reach seven victories will decide humanity’s fate.

When I tell you that this manga goes crazy, it goes CRAZY! Every fight is exhilarating, the characters are all superb, yes that goes for Göll too! There’s’ currently 40 chapters out I believe, and I binged read it all! It’s so intriguing to watch the humans go up against sadistic gods, fighting what always seems like futile before benevolent beings. This is definitely one to read for sure if you’re into high-stake fights! And the way these gods are depicted, that is the icing on this surreal cake! If this ever gets animated, it’s going to be a big hit for sure!
