#Shootout in NYC parking lot leaves 3 injured amid overnight gunplay

Seven people were shot in four incidents overnight, continuing the city’s streak of weekend gunplay, police said.

In a chaotic shootout in the Bronx around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, two groups exchanged gunfire in a Jerome Avenue parking lot — leaving three hurt and one in handcuffs.

Three men were hanging out in the empty lot, when a black sedan pulled up and a different trio got out and opened fire, police said.

One of the victims — a 28-year-old shot in the leg — fired back, before hopping in a car that drove him to Bronx-Lebanon hospital, where he was arrested, according to police. His name has not been released pending formal charges, police said.

The 28-year-old’s two pals were also hurt, including a 32-year-old with a graze wound to the head and another, 41, shot in the hand, police said.

Police are searching for the suspects, described as three Hispanic men, authorities said.

In another Bronx shooting — among three in the borough overnight — two 20-somethings were struck around midnight in Fordham Heights, near the corner of East 181st Street and Morris Avenue.

One victim, 22, was shot in the butt, and a 26-year-old in the abdomen; both were taken to St. Barnabas hospital, where they are expected to survive.

Police are still searching for the suspect.

An hour later in West Harlem, a black man in a hooded sweatshirt fired a bullet at a 53-year-old man’s right ankle at Amsterdam Avenue and West 125th Street, police said. No arrests were made.

Another man was shot three times in the Morrisania section of the Bronx around 1:30 a.m., police said. The victim told cops he heard gunfire, then suddenly felt pain and noticed he’d been shot in the back, stomach and left hand, authorities said. He is being treated for his injuries at St. Barnabas hospital.
