#Shooting reported for second night in a row where Rayshard Brooks was killed

A man was shot late Saturday outside the Atlanta Wendy’s where Rayshard Brooks was killed during a confrontation with police – the second night in a row someone was injured by gunfire at the location, according to a report.

The 35-year-old man was struck in the leg during the drive-by shooting at University Avenue and Pryor Road about 6 p.m., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Witnesses told police he was was shot by someone driving a gray Dodge Challenger, which was last seen heading north on Pryor Road, police spokesman Anthony Grant told the outlet.

The intersection at the fast-food eatery has been the site of large protests since Brooks was fatally shot in the back by a cop during a struggle in its parking lot.

On Friday night, a 24-year-old woman was shot in the leg outside the Wendy’s after gunfire erupted during an otherwise peaceful demonstration, according to the paper.

Former cop Garrett Rolfe has been charged with felony murder, five counts of aggravated assault, one count of first-degree criminal damage to property and four counts of violation of oath in Brooks’ death.

His former partner, Devin Brosnan, faces charges of aggravated assault and three counts of violation of oath.
