#Shooting leaves four people injured in Brooklyn

One person was killed and five others injured during a shooting in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, police sources said.

The shooting took place on Hawthorne Street near Nostrand Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, according to police.

Police did not immediately have any further information.

In another shooting, a 28-year-old man was gunned down outside of an apartment complex on Herkimer Street near Hunterfly Place about 9:35 p.m., cops said.

The unidentified victim, who was struck several times, was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was declared dead, authorities said.
