#Shocking video shows gunman opening fire outside NYC bar

Disturbing video released early Wednesday shows the moment a gunman opened fire outside an East Village bar — narrowly missing a man who investigators believe was mistakenly targeted.

The victim is shown on video darting into the Ace Bar on East 5th Street near Avenue B around 11:10 p.m. Monday moments before the shooter, standing in the middle of the street, fired his weapon.

The victim — who police say may have been misidentified as another person who had already run off — was already safely inside the bar when a bullet struck the facade, sending shards of glass flying. 

The suspect, who wore gray jogging clothes, fled and was still on the loose Wednesday. 

The victim also fled and did not meet with police after the incident, cops said.
