“Shine Post Reveals July 12 Premiere With New Trailer”

The Shine Post idol anime has revealed a Japanese premiere date of July 12 alongside a fresh trailer, which provides more footage of its main cast.

It was also announced that Atsumi Tanezaki will be part of the overall cast as Eiko Sakuchi, the manager of the Yura Yura Sisters idol unit.

SHINE POST is part of a media mix idol project that includes a light novel, a mobile game, and live events. The anime follows TiNgS, an idol unit with big dreams but small accomplishments. The one who is meant to save them is supposedly the greatest manager, but instead, what the girls get is an unmotivated man with one special ability.

The staff includes Kei Oikawa (Umamusume: Pretty Derby) as director, SPP as series composer, Rakuda (ORESUKI Are you the only one who loves me? light novel) and Tatsuto Higuchi (Revue Starlight series composer) as scriptwriters, Buriki (ORESUKI Are you the only one who loves me? light novel) as original character designer, and Yoshihiro Nagata (The Hero Is Overpowered But Overly Cautious animation director) as character designer and chief animation director. Studio KAI is the animation production studio.

Other staff include Yuusuke Souen (The Idolmaster CInderella Girls Starlit Stage 6th Anniversary CM “New Dawn” character designer) as sub-character designer and chief animation director, Hiroki Matsumoto (A Couple of Cuckoos) as art director, Naomi Nakano (Hololive Alternative 1st and 2nd teaser trailers) as color designer, Shinya Matsui (Koikimo) as photography director, and Yasunori Nishiki (Princess Connect co-composer) and Tsubasa Itou (Princess Connect co-composer) as music composers.

Meanwhile, the main cast includes Moeko Kanisawa as Kyouka Tamaki, Yuuko Natsuyoshi as Rio Seibu, Sayumi Suzushiro as Haru Nabatame, Rimo Hasegawa as Yukio Gionji, and Rika Nakagawa as Momiji Itou. The five of them are also part of the real-life TiNgS unit.
