Shigure Ui Becomes the Ambassador for Clip Studio Paint
Popular illustrator and VTuber Shigure Ui has been named the official brand ambassador for Clip Studio Paint Ver. 4.0.
As part of the campaign, two web commercials featuring Shigure have been released. The first one is her promoting Clip Studio Paint’s latest update, with the other one focused on a quick-fire tutorial on compositing and finishing an art project using the software.
In the press release, Ui shared that she has used Clip Studio Paint for many years — for both her hobby and work — and that she loves using the software.
Shigure Ui began her career as a freelance illustrator, and was responsible for the character design of hololive talent Oozora Subaru. She then debuted as a VTuber in 2019, and has released her debut album The Rain Doesn’t Stop Yet in 2022, which included her infamous single “Shukusei!! Loli Kami Requiem”.
