#Sharon Osbourne Says She’d ‘Never Go Back’ to The Talk

Using some rather colorful language, Sharon Osbourne has made it clear she wouldn’t consider a return to The Talk if they ever asked her to come back.

The relationship between Sharon Osbourne and The Talk is completely over. Spending over a decade on the daytime talk show, Osbourne had joined The Talk in 2010, where she served as a co-host until her controversial exit in 2021. Her departure followed Osbourne coming under fire for defending her friend Piers Morgan, who’d similarly been facing his own backlash for comments he’d made about Meghan Markle.

Let’s fast forward to a similar situation that recently happened with Whoopi Goldberg and The View. On the program, Goldberg had remarked that the holocaust was “not about race,” prompting an outcry from viewers. Though she apologized on social media and on-air, the longtime host of the show was also suspended for two weeks. That might have some of Osbourne’s fans feeling that her firing was unfair in comparison and that maybe she could be brought back to The Talk in light of that.

However, CBS won’t need to even bother trying. Speaking with TMZ, Osbourne did not hold back when asked for her thoughts on a potential return to the show. Using the kind of language the Osbournes have become synonymous with, Sharon had this to say when directly asked if she would come back to The Talk if she were to get an offer to return, per TMZ.

“No. No, I would never go back to that show again, ever. No, because CBS s**ks big time d***.”

When asked if he thought it was fair that she was fired from The Talk, Osbourne said she was apathetic about it as it wasn’t something she needed. She also makes it clear, however, that she’s not retired in any way, shape, or form, insisting that she’s going to be back to working on something new soon enough.

“Hey, listen, it happened. I don’t care. I honestly don’t care. It’s not like I need it… F*** no, [I’m not retiring].”

The Story of the Osbournes Is Getting the Biopic Treatment

Certainly, the lives of the Osbournes had been interesting enough to warrant them getting their own successful reality television series. In October 2021, it was reported that their story would also inspire a new biopic about Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne in the works at Sony Pictures. Lee Hall (Billy Elliot) is writing the screenplay, though as of now, no one is locked in to play Ozzy or Sharon. Good luck trying to cast actors who can perfectly recreate both of these unique and distinct personalities.

“Our relationship at times was often wild, insane and dangerous but it was our undying love that kept us together,” said Sharon Osbourne in a statement at the time. “We’re thrilled to partner with Sony Pictures and Polygram to bring our story to the screen.”

Sharon is producing the movie with her children Jack Osbourne and Aimee Osbourne through their Osbourne Media banner alongside Michele Anthony and David Blackman of Polygram Entertainment. Because Ozzy’s relationship with Sharon is just as well-known as his music, both will be worked into the film. It does not yet have a release date.
