After he spent the ’80s protecting and serving the Sunshine State in NBC’s Miami Vice, Don Johnson switched coasts and played the titular San Francisco cop in CBS’ Nash Bridges, which turns 25 years old on Monday, March 29.

With Cheech Marin along for the ride as Johnson’s on-screen partner, the show was funnier than your typical cop drama. Premiering in 1996, it aired 122 episodes across six seasons. And in the years since the show’s 2001 finale, many of its cast members have found regular work on the small screen.
