#Sarah Neufeld Announces New Album Detritus, Shares New Song “Stories”: Listen

Sarah Neufeld, the violinist and composer well known for her work with Arcade Fire, has announced a new album, Detritus, which arrives May 14 via Paper Bag. Neufeld has also shared the album’s lead single, “Stories.” Listen to that and check out the Detritus tracklist and album cover below.

“Stories” is about “the stories we’ve told ourselves that we can no longer believe,” Neufeld said in a press statement. She worked on the new album with Jeremy Gara,Pietro Amato, and more.

Detritus follows Neufeld’s 2016 album The Ridge. She previously teamed up with Colin Stetson for their collaborative album Never Were the Way She Was in 2015.
