“#Ryan Tannehill’s wife celebrates Titans’ top playoff spot”
Lauren Tannehill has nothing but love for the “home team.”
After the Titans wrapped their regular season on Sunday, defeating the Texans 28-25, Tennessee officially claimed the No. 1 seed for the AFC playoffs, earning a first-round bye. Following the win, the wife of Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill took to social media to celebrate.

“1 seed (had to use the finger) I have been walking around the house telling him he’s #1 all week,” Lauren wrote Sunday on her Instagram Story, referencing her bruised finger.
In a separate post, Lauren swooned over her husband of nine years, writing: “Okay big Daddy sheesh.” She also gushed over the “home team” Titans, with the AFC road to the Super Bowl going through Tennessee.

Tannehill ended the regular season throwing for 3,734 yards with 21 touchdowns — four of which came during Sunday’s win — and 14 interceptions.
The Titans’ offense will also likely get a boost this postseason with the return of star running back Derrick Henry, who was placed on injured reserve in early November due to a fractured foot. Head coach Mike Vrabel said Friday that he felt “good” about where Henry “is at.”

“I think that he looked good. We continue to track his speed and his mileage and volume and see how he responds,” Vrabel said, per ESPN.
The Titans were the No. 4 seed in the AFC playoffs last year and were eliminated after a loss to the Ravens in the wild-card round. They also reached the AFC Championship during the 2019 season but fell to the Chiefs, who went on to win the Super Bowl.
