Richaun Holmes has some explaining to do.

After the Sacramento Kings big man revealed Monday he “accidentally” broke the NBA bubble rules to grab a food delivery, resulting in a 10-day quarantine, the 26-year-old’s mother gave him a very public scolding on social media.

“You only cross the line for your MOMA’s COOKING! AND I WAS NOT IN FLORIDA SIR!! #lol @Rich_Holmes22. Love you baby!” Dr. Lydecia Holmes tweeted Monday.

Holmes, who has seven days of quarantine remaining, has since apologized.

“I apologize for my actions and look forward to rejoining my teammates for our playoff push,” he said.

Holmes isn’t the only NBA star who violated bubble protocols. Houston Rockets forward Bruno Caboclo broke the initial quarantine period by leaving his hotel room, ESPN reported Monday. The 24-year-old will now be subjected to enhanced coronavirus testing, in addition to an extended quarantine period.
