The Rhapsody “live anime” show has received a teaser trailer and visual, with the former providing a look at its 3DCG animation. An early July release date was also revealed.

According to an announcement on the Rhapsody project’s website, the Rhapsody show will debut at Ikebukuro’s harevutai instead of being screened in theaters. It is described as a feature-length union of anime and a live performance.

Rhapsody is created and supervised by music critic Youichi Shibuya and the Rockin’ On Group (which Shibuya is president of). The “innovative rock anime” project was first announced in March 2022, with a music video being released on the same day. Manga artist Yuuki Kodama (ID:INVADED) is credited with the original character designs while Kawai Momoko (Sabikui Bisco co-main animator) is the character designer.

The project features a few groups, including the rock bands Pink Flag and Springcross, the folk band Bluebird, and the EDM pair Sor. The cast includes:
