#Re:ZERO Creator Explains Why It Took So Long to See the 2nd Season 2 OP

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-

It has been 6 episodes since the second part of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- season 2 started broadcasting and finally, viewers got to watch the opening, which features Mayu Maeshima singing “Long shot”. The Re:ZERO creator explained why it took so long for the anime to reveal its opening!

While many speculated that it may have been due to the run time of each episode, which has been over the usual 24-minutes seen in most TV anime, but the author of the series, Tappei Nagatsuki explained the true reason behind the delayed premiere was due to spoilers!

In the above Tweet, Nagatsuki explained that the opening is “full of spoilers, so it couldn’t have been played from the start of the second part.” For those watching along, after seeing the opening it was obvious that it is full of spoilers for the stories that proceeded the 6th episode, with many many spoilers that would have blown minds if released with the first episode of the season, but it is nice to have confirmation from the creator himself! It was also nice to finally hear “Long shot” after all this time!
