A reverend propositioned a female pastor to be his mistress, sent her penis pics and once said he wanted “a blowjob from a cute pastor like [her],” new court papers allege.

Rev. Charles Atkins Jr. allegedly helped to get Rev. Grace Nzameyo Maa a job at Manhattan’s The French Evangelical Church of New York — then held it over her head when he tried to initiate an affair with her, Nzameyo’s Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit from Tuesday alleges.

Nzameyo — who had filled in for Atkins for three years prior when he was traveling or studying for his PhD — got a formal part-time position as a pastor at the Flatiron District church on Sept. 23, 2018, and shortly after Atkins began his relentless pursuit of her, the court papers allege.

Sometime that fall Atkins said to Nzameyo, “I gave you this ordination. I want you to be with me as my mistress. My wife isn’t giving it to me anymore,” the court documents claim.

“Grace, you know I love you and want you to be my girlfriend,” Nzameyo alleges Atkins once said. “You have to stop this madness. I’d like to get a blow job from a cute pastor like you. I know you Africans don’t like to give blowjobs.”

“Don’t wear your robe. I was hoping I could see your butt and curves and legs today,” Atkins allegedly said on another occasion.

Then on Sept. 28 and again on Dec. 9, Atkins sent Nzameyo “three different photos of his genitals,” the suit alleges.

Nzameyo — a Cameroon born New Jersey resident — repeatedly rebuffed Atkins’ advances causing him to marginalize her at the church in retaliation, the court papers claim.

For example, Atkins refused to put Nzameyo’s name on the Sunday bulletin and didn’t allow her to participate in the Sunday service, including sacraments and communion, the court filing says. And Atkins repeatedly called Nzameyo a “‘stupid b—h’ under his breath while on the pulpit with her during worship services,” the court papers claim.

Nzameyo eventually filed a formal complaint against Atkins on Feb. 28, 2019 with parent church New York Presbytery prompting the church to fire Atkins three months later on May 31, 2019.

And before that on May 16, Atkins renounced jurisdiction of the church, the suit says.

Still, afterwards Nzameyo said she was barred from her duties and preaching at the church, “despite the fact that the Presbytery’s Investigation Committee eventually found that there was probably cause to bring formal disciplinary charges against Rev. Atkins,” the suit alleges.

A spokesperson with New York’s Presbytery explained to The Post that because Atkins renounced the church’s jurisdiction, “This means that he ceased to be a minister of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and that the church could no longer investigate or try him in its courts. It is now solely in the secular court system.”

“The Presbytery did not retaliate against his accuser; her employment as a minister had not been not been undertaken properly,” according to the church’s rules, the spokesperson said.

Finally, the rep disputed the claim in the lawsuit that the church fired Atkins saying “he resigned before the investigation began.”

Nzameyo is suing Atkins, the Presbytery of New York City and the French Evangelical Church of New York for unspecified damages.

Atkins did not immediately return a request for comment.
