Two police officers were captured on video shooting water guns at a group of people in Jamaica, Queens, who were spraying the cool liquid right back at them.
“Look at this s–t,” a man can be heard saying in the 45-second clip that was shot in front of 89-31 165th Street on Monday. “We got police playing with us.”
At one point, the male and female cops get out of the car and have a pretend gun fight with the group.
The man shooting the video, who goes by the name Chef Matt, keeps repeating the restaurant name “Mama’s Kitchen,” which is in Jamaica.
“We had our water guns,” he told The Post. “They saw us playing with our water guns. They went to the 99 cent store and came back. They know what time it is.”
At the end of the video, the female cop, who’s not wearing a mask, plugs the restaurant at the videographer’s request.
“Shout out to Mama’s Kitchen,” she says, while posing for the camera.
The antics come on the heels of tense protests over the death of George Floyd at the hands of cops in Minneapolis — which at times descended into violence.
