Singer Grimes and SpaceX founder Elon Musk have ended their relationship after three years and one child together, according to Page Six. Musk told the publication they remain close and continue to parent their 1-year-old son X Æ A-Xii Musk, but that traveling for work is what ultimately lead to the relationship’s demise.
“We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently, and are on great terms,” he said.“It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in L.A. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”
The couple started their relationship in 2018, reportedly after bonding over jokes about artificial intelligence, and welcomed a son in May 2020.
