A wave of character and mobile suit announcements have been made for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX anime series, whose theatrical preview Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- premiered in Japan last month.
If you’ve somehow managed to avoid the various Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX leaks and spoilers and wish to maintain that, the parts beyond the next paragraph should be avoided.
First, there are the members of the scrap dealing company Kaneban. The cast members are:
• Mariya Ise as Ankey
• Yukitoshi Tokumoto as Jeji
• Kosuke Echigoya as Pomeranian
• Shoya Chiba as Nabu
• Yusuke Nagano as Cane
• Rie Kugimiya as Haro
Then, there is the Principality of Zeon:
• Shinji Kawada as Challia Bull
• Seiichiro Yamashita as Egusabe Oribe
• Akane Fujita as Komori Harcourt
• Yuki Shin as Char Aznable

• Taichi Takeda as Dren
For the mobile suits, revealed are the Red Gundam (gMS-α), White Gundam (RX-78-02), Zaku (MS-06), and Char’s Zaku (MS-06S).
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX doesn’t have a release date yet. Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, which splices some of the series’ episodes together, premiered in Japan on January 17 JST and will head overseas too (North America on February 28, Southeast Asia at an unannounced date).
The premise of the new Gundam entry reads:
Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space.
When she meets a war refugee named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle.
Under the entry name “Machu,” she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Then an unidentified Gundam mobile suit pursued by both the space force and the police appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuji.
Now their world is about to enter a new era.
