“#Record of Ragnarok Release Date Announced for June 17 on Netflix”

Warner Bros. Japan announced that the Record of Ragnarok anime will begin streaming worldwide on June 17 on Netflix. A new key visual and preview trailer was also released with the announcement.

The announcement also revealed additional cast members Aya Kawakami as Randgrid, Rina Kawaguchi as Reginleif, and Yu Kobayashi (Sasha Braus in Attack on Titan) as Hrist.

The main cast includes Miyuki Sawashiro (Mordred in Fate/Apocrypha) as Brunhild, Tomoyo Kurosawa (Ordinary Person in Akudama Drive, Saya in Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina) as Geir, Tomokazu Seki (Gilgamesh in Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) as Lu Bu, Hikaru Midorikawa (Gridman in SSSS.Gridman) as Thor, and Wataru Takagi (Eikichi Onizuka in GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka) as Zeus.

Graphinica is in charge of the animation production with Masao Okubo as director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (By the Grace of Gods, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) as series composer, Masaki Saito as character designer, and Yasuharu Takanashi (Naruto, Fairy Tail, Zombieland Saga) as music composer.

MAXIMUM THE HORMONE is performing the opening theme song “KAMIGAMI-神噛-.”

The manga is written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. It started serialization in January 2018 in the Monthly Comic Zenon magazine by COAMIX.
