Razer’s new second-gen Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds are the company’s latest addition to its extensive line of gamer-friendly hardware. The buds boast Razer Chroma RGB lighting, feed-forward active noise cancellation (ANC), and a customizable design.

If you’ve got all-in on RGB for your gaming rig setup, or if you’re simply looking for a unique pair of earbuds that’ll stand out from the crowd, the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless buds are a must-have. Not only do they look cool—with 16.8 million colors and a suite of effects (like Audio Meter, Breathing, Spectrum, and Static) to choose from—you can tailor your buds to match the rest of your Razer gear for a personalized style.

The earbuds still feature Razer’s 60ms low-latency Gaming Mode while gaming on Bluetooth, just like the original pair did, allowing you to clearly hear enemies approaching from any direction and have plenty of time to react. Active noise cancellation eliminates distractions and cancels out unwanted ambient noise, ensuring you won’t hear any annoying background noise while using them.

An in-ear design ensures a comfortable, secure fit and enhanced passive noise isolation. Of course, the buds ship with additional ear tip sizes so you can find the perfect comfy fit. Dual environmental noise-canceling microphones work to detect, identify, and reduce unwanted background noise, ensuring that your voice comes through strong and clear on video calls or on Discord.

Just like the original Hammerheads, the second-gen pair still features an IPX4 water resistance rating and on-ear touch controls. Now, they also support Bluetooth 5.2, Google Fast Pair, and have a two-year warranty.

Battery life for the buds also receives an upgrade. The original Hammerhead earbuds offer 16 hours total (4 from the buds and 12 from the case), and now you can get up to 32.5 hours (that’s 6.5 from the buds and an additional 26 from the case) if you’re cool with turning off ANC and the lighting. Otherwise, you can get up to 27.5 hours with lighting on and ANC off, up to 22.5 hours with lighting off and ANC on, and up to 20 hours with both lighting and ANC on (that’s 4 hours from the buds and 16 from the case, for comparison).

Razer’s Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds are available now through Razer and other authorized retailers for $129.99. The new Hammerheads are only available in black, though you can snag the 2019 version in other colors like Quartz and Mercury.
