#Queen’s Orders OVA Releases New PV Trailer

A new PV trailer has been released for the upcoming Azur Lane: Queen’s Orders OVA, which will be released on Blu-ray on July 27, 2023. The OVA is listed with two total parts, adding up to a 48-minute runtime.
Azur Lane: Queen’s Orders was originally set to be released earlier this May, but was delayed to late July.
The OVA’s production staff includes Yoshi Yamashita as series screenwriter, Katsuzou Hirata (Mieruko-chan), Kana Niimura, and Masahide Yanagisawa (Citrus) as character designers, and Osamu Tayama (Scarlet Nexus) as art director. Yostar Pictures is in charge of the animation production.
Other staff members include Toshiyuki Sakakieda (Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story) as art designer, Michio Kaku (Manaria Friends) as color designer, and Xiaomu Yang (Record of Ragnarok II) as photography director. Daisuke Horita (Sorairo Utility) is the music composer and sound editor.
The voice cast for the OVA features Sumire Uesaka as Queen Elizabeth and Warspite, Yui Horie as Belfast, Asuka Nishi as Valiant, Rumi Ookubo as Kisaragi, and Akari Uehara as Suffolk.
The anime is based on the manga by Tsuchii, which was first serialized in Comic REX magazine on October 26, 2018. The manga is a slapstick slice of life story that follows the character Queen Elizabeth and her friend, Warspite.
The Azur Lane franchise has inspired a television anime series from Bibury Animation Studios that aired from October 3, 2019 to March 20, 2020.

Funimation streamed the series outside of Japan, before moving to Crunchyroll after the Sony merger. The first season is described as:
Azur Lane, a combination of all the different Camps in the world, was once successful in repelling the underwater menace, the Siren. Now splintered, they must face a new threat in Red Axis, former allies who crave to wield this otherworldly Siren technology for their own nefarious desires! Who will be victorious in the never-ending war between these battleship girls!?
