It’s been a little more than 19 years since the anime series “Nadia – Die Macht des Zaubersteins” was last shown on German television. It was September 23, 2002 in the afternoon RTL II anime program. Then it was done. A remastered version was released on Blu-ray in 2017. And now Nadia is actually making it back to the TV screens in Germany, Austria and Switzerland!
ProSieben MAXX shows the iconic anime series, which premiered on RTL II in 1996, from December 06, 2021, Monday to Friday at 6:30 p.m.. The episodes are also available immediately after being broadcast on ProSiebenMAXX.de and Joyn. A total of 39 episodes are broadcast, which corresponds to the complete series.
What is the series about?
At the Paris World’s Fair in 1889, the 14-year-old inventor Jean wanted to impress everyone with his flying machine, but instead he lost his heart to the young tamer Nadia at a circus performance. When technically monstrously equipped thieves want to take the stone from her and Jean rushes to help her, both are drawn into an unbelievable adventure in which Nadia not only finally finds a trace of her parents and Jean meets highly developed machines whose technology is beyond imagination. No, the two also uncover a secret about the origin of mankind!
