“#Princess Connect! Re: Dive’s New Character Brings a New Tomorrow!”
…Actually, yeah, that’s about what we’ve got in store for you.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a brand new character, but wait no more: Tomo is ready to lead the charge! Representing Nightmare, the mysterious guild tasked with duties of the royal guard, this dashing swordfighter is skilled at dealing massive amounts of fine-tuned damage at her foes, with a little bit of everything you could want: TP steal, attack speed buffs, and raw damage output. Voiced by Minori Chihara, you’ll be sure to want to be on her side of the battlefield.
Like all banner characters, Tomo will be the main feature of a new Focus Gacha for a short period of time with boosted rates, and will also be available to obtain via the Premium Gacha. However, unlike the wave of summer-themed characters, Tomo won’t be going away after her Focus Gacha ends. However, her Focus Gacha is definitely one of the best opportunities you’ll have to recruit her, so don’t miss this opportunity!
The Tomo Focus Gacha will last for 21 days, from 8/18 23:00 UTC to 9/7 22:59 UTC.
Speaking of Nightmare – there’s been some rumors flying around involving the guild in question. With Tomo joining the fray, here’s an opportunity to spend some time together with the guild members of Nightmare and unravel some of the mysteries surrounding the royal protectors in the next story event, Ironclad Nightmare!
As with our previous events, this event will also feature exclusive boss battles, where you can test your skills in varying difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. You’ll want to steel yourself for the Very Hard boss, as it’s a true challenge, and only clearable once per day. You’ll need Boss Tickets to earn a shot at defeating the boss, which can be obtained by clearing event stages and from login bonuses while the event is active. If you don’t successfully defeat a boss on your first attempt, here’s the silver lining – you can retry as many times as necessary, and non-lethal damage dealt to a boss will carry over between attempts. If you need to nickel and dime your way to victory, so be it!
The Victory Medal Gacha also makes its golden return for the event! Clearing event stages, event missions, and defeating the previously mentioned bosses will copper you Victory Medals, which can be exchanged for an abundance of rewards. There’s a predetermined series of reward lineups, each featuring a key reward – once you roll the current lineup’s key reward, you’ll have the opportunity to either reset the rewards and forge ahead to the next lineup, or hold off on resetting to clear out all the possible rewards. Let’s get to brass tacks: here are the key rewards you should look out for!
- Lineup 1: Yukari’s Memory Shard x 20
- Lineup 2: Jun’s Memory Shard x 25
- Lineup 3: Yukari’s Memory Shard x 30
- Lineup 4: Jun’s Memory Shard x 40
Just remember – once you’ve gone through the four initial lineups, you won’t be able to reset the active lineup until you’ve obtained all the possible rewards from the current active lineup.
The Ironclad Nightmare story event will be available from 8/18 23:00 UTC to 9/5 22:59 UTC.
It’s that time of the month again! Rally your alloys—err, allies, and theory craft some teams – the August Clan Battle is coming soon! In Clan Battle, you’ll work with the aid of your fellow clan members to take on monsters too powerful for adventurers to handle alone. After the event is over, you’ll earn precious Memory Shards, Clan Coins, and Jewels, depending on how well your clan did! The reward structure is the same as before, but you’ll earn Yori’s Memory Shards this time around.
The August Clan Battle will run from 8/25 13:00 UTC to 8/30 7:59 UTC.
Our cycle of double drop events continues with the Grotto Quest Double Drop Campaign. Stock up on double the amount of mana, the experience potions, and double all the other wonderful goodies you can obtain in the gratuitous coffers of the Grotto. The grotto-itous coffers? We’ll workshop that one.
The Grotto Quest Double Drop Campaign will run for twelve days, from 8/14 13:00 UTC to 8/25 12:59 UTC.
Collecting mana and experience potions from the Grotto is great, but what about equipment for our heroines? Well, look no further as the Normal Quest Double Drop Campaign will also be returning. Completing Normal Quests during the campaign will net you double the number of drops compared to normal. There’s no better time than now to stock up on equipment for your favorite characters!
The Normal Quest Double Drop Campaign will run for 6 days, from 8/25 13:00 UTC to 8/30 12:59 UTC.
Last but certainly not least, the Hard Quest Double Drop Campaign also makes a triumphant return. The quests may be hard, but it’ll be harder to not take advantage of this opportunity! You’ll be able to grab double the memory shards, double the mana, and double any other drops from Hard Quests during this campaign.
The Hard Quest Double Drop Campaign will run for 6 days, from 8/30 13:00 UTC to 9/4 12:59 UTC.
Included below is a summarized version of all the updates announced today, for easy reading and accessibility. Thank you for all your support, and we hope you continue to enjoy Princess Connect! Re: Dive!
