#Pregnant woman undergoes emergency C-section after NYC shooting

A pregnant woman had to undergo an emergency C-section and a man is clinging to life after being shot in the face following a pair of Brooklyn shootings over the weekend.

They were just two of the seven victims of gun violence reported citywide Saturday and Sunday, cops said.

A 21-year-old expectant mother who was eight months pregnant walked into SUNY Downstate Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder on Saturday night, police say.

She was treated for the injury and underwent a Caesarean section. Both she and the baby are in stable condition.

The shooting happened at Utica Avenue and Montgomery Street in Crown Heights, and police say the victim has been uncooperative in helping to identify her assailant.

Six people were shot citywide on Saturday alone — double the number of victims tallied on the same date last year, cops said.

In Red Hook, a teenager is clinging to life at Methodist Hospital after being shot twice in the stomach.

The 17-year-old was attacked in the lobby of a building in the Red Hook Houses around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police are searching for the person who pulled the trigger.

On Sunday, a man was shot in the head in front of 188 Parkside Avenue in broad daylight at 9:40 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
