#My Next Life as a Villainess Movie Unveils Character PV Trailer for Nicol Ascart
A new character PV trailer has been unveiled for My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! The Movie, highlighting Sophia’s brother, Nicol Ascart.
The anime film will have its world premiere at Anime NYC 2023 on November 19, 2023, ahead of its release in Japan on December 8, 2023.
The film features an original story written by series’ author Satoru Yamaguchi. Keisuke Inoue is directing the film after helming the 2020 and 2021 anime seasons. Megumi Shimizu is serving as story composer and Miwa Ooshima as character designer. SILVER LINK is handling the animation production.
The main voice cast of the TV anime series reprise their roles for the film, which stars:

Six new voice cast members are also joining the film’s voice cast, which includes:

- • Rie Kugimiya as Piyo
The original light novels were first published under Ichijinsha’s Bunko Iris label on August 20, 2015, with illustrations by Nami Hidaka. Thirteen volumes have been released as of September 2023. The series originated as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou from July 6, 2014 to March 23, 2015. It also inspired a manga adaptation in 2017 and a side story spinoff that ran from 2019 to 2021.
Crunchyroll is streaming both seasons of My Next Life as a Villainess and describes the first season as:
Wealthy heiress Catarina Claes is hit in the head with a rock and recovers the memories of her past life. It turns out the world she lives in is the world of the game Fortune Lover, an otome game she was obsessed with in her past life… but she’s been cast as the villain character who tries to foil the protagonist’s romances! The best ending the game has for Catarina is exile, and the worst, death! She’ll have to find a way to avoid triggering the flags of doom, and make her own happy future! The misunderstanding-based screwball love comedy now begins!
