#Porches shares cover of Harry Styles’ “Adore You”

Aaron Maine (Porches) has shared a cover of Harry Styles’ “Adore You.” The original track comes from Styles’ 2019 sophomore solo LP, Fine Line. Maine dropped his fifth studio album, All Day Gentle Hold!, in October.

“I thought it would be interesting to strip down ‘Adore You’, this huge pop song, and see what happened,” Maine writes of the cover. “I feel like I was really able to get lost in it and create this kind of eerier and darker version.”

His version is indeed stripped down, comprising only a guitar, a vocal track, and a heavy dose of reverb. Watch its animated visualizer, in which crudely drawn fish swim past the track’s title, above, and view Porches’ upcoming tour dates below.
